Hear from our students

Educis’ training gave me access to resources that were so well-prepared and easy-to-understand that helped break down complex topics and sharpen my research skills. I loved how the material wasn’t just about memorizing facts but also about connecting ideas and thinking critically. These resources became my go-to during revision, and I could clearly see the impact in my performance.

Avyan Goyal
The Doon School

The best part of Educis’ training was the practice quizzes and mock debate rounds. The quizzes kept me sharp on important content, and the mock debates gave me the chance to test my skills in a competitive but safe environment. Each round built my confidence and taught me to think quickly under pressure. It felt like I was at World Scholar’s Cup even before the actual competition!

Sia Anand
Bodhi International School

The WSC training with Educis was an incredible journey. Aman sir’s guidance really helped me understand how to approach debate rounds with confidence and structure my arguments better. His feedback after every practice session made a huge difference. I went into the competition feeling well-prepared & much confident, and I owe a big part of that to the way Educis trained us.

Frequently asked questions

What is the World Scholar’s Cup, and what are the four main events (Scholar’s Bowl, Scholar’s Challenge, Collaborative Writing, and Team Debate)?

The World Scholar’s Cup is a global academic competition celebrating learning and teamwork. Students participate in four key events — team debate, collaborative writing, the Scholar’s Challenge (quiz), and the Scholar’s Bowl (multimedia problem-solving).

Why should a student participate in the World Scholar’s Cup?

It’s a creative, interdisciplinary experience that rewards curiosity, teamwork, and breadth of knowledge — not rote learning. Students develop critical thinking, writing, and public speaking skills while connecting with peers from 50+ countries.

Which subjects are covered in the WSC curriculum for this year?

Each year, WSC selects six subjects tied to a global theme (e.g., science, history, literature, art, music, and social studies). The annual theme interlinks them through real-world relevance.

How does the training prepare students for both the individual and team components of WSC?

Our program combines weekly skill sessions (debate, writing, quiz prep) with mock tournaments, timed exercises, and teamwork drills that mirror competition rounds.

Are the teams formed by Educis, or do students need to form their own teams?

Educis helps students form balanced teams based on complementary strengths in writing, debate, and academics. Existing school teams are also welcome.

Do you help with registration and logistics for the regional, global, and Tournament of Champions rounds?

Yes. We support registration, scheduling, and preparation logistics for all rounds. Travel and accommodation arrangements remain parent-led.

What level of research and writing will be expected from my child during the training?

Students are encouraged to read widely, take notes, and craft short analytical and creative pieces each week. The workload is steady but manageable alongside school.

How much time commitment (outside of scheduled sessions) is required for successful participation?

On average, 2–3 hours per week of independent review or practice is sufficient to perform well.

How will participating in WSC help my child in their university applications?

WSC reflects intellectual curiosity, leadership, and global engagement — all qualities highly valued by top universities.

What is the ideal age or grade level for students to start WSC training?

Ideal for Grades 6–12. We group students by division (Junior and Senior) to tailor training intensity and content.
