Frequently asked questions

What specific public speaking skills are covered in the training (e.g., body language, vocal delivery, content structure)?

We cover speech construction, voice modulation, storytelling, body language, and audience engagement — focusing equally on content and delivery.

Is the program suitable for students who are very shy or have severe stage fright?

Absolutely. Our sessions begin with low-pressure exercises to build confidence gradually. Many of our strongest speakers started as shy participants.

What methods do you use to help students overcome anxiety related to speaking?

We use exposure-based techniques — small group practice, visualization, breathing exercises, and one-on-one coaching — to make speaking feel natural and rewarding.

Will my child have opportunities to practice speaking in front of an audience or participate in some competitions?

Yes. Students participate in simulated debates, storytelling contests, and mock conferences. We also nominate advanced students for inter-school and national-level competitions.

How do you measure a student’s progress throughout the course?

We track growth through speaking rubrics assessing clarity, structure, delivery, and confidence, supplemented by mentor feedback and self-assessment checkpoints.

Are the instructors experienced professional speakers or educators?

Our mentors include experienced educators, MUN coaches, and competitive debaters who have trained students at national and international levels.

What is the class size, and how much individual feedback will my child receive?

Sessions are capped at 8–10 students to ensure individual attention. Each student receives targeted feedback after every major speaking exercise.
